The open, airy gallery of The Farmhouse at The Cutting Garden comfortably seats 50 theater-style, or 40 at tables, and is ideal for any number of events, including parties and business meetings. Our Farmhouse, with its extensive gardens and grounds, has been described as "the most intimate and refreshing 'convention center' on the Olympic Peninsula." Just a relaxing ferry ride and a 55-mile scenic drive west of Seattle, and you will be transported to true, mind-calming "Northwest Country."
During the month of December, we dress our pretty little farmhouse in her holiday finery for festive parties! Enjoy the cozy fireplace (the stockings are hung by the chimney with care,) eight-foot-tall Christmas tree, and many other holiday touches. We're closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Check out our rental rates. |

Mangoland Cooks! is a series of culinary experiences, focused around a
participatory class model. You will learn traditional recipes from the
indicated cuisine, prepared using premium, fresh, local, organic
ingredients. You will find yourself immersed in the sounds, languages,
and attitudes of the culture in question. You will meet interesting people
and have the opportunity to cook your own homework. Welcome!
Your instructor, Ankur Shah, is a Sequim native of Indian origin. He
retired from the hi-tech industry at the age of 23 to study and teach
across the world. Ankur has lived on four continents, written two books,
and fallen in love too many times to count.
All classes will be held in The Farmhouse kitchen amidst the beautiful
garden environs of The Cutting Garden, 303 Dahlia Lama Lane, in
Sequim. Classes are from 5-8pm on Tuesdays, and include dinner and
appropriate refreshments. Tuition is $50 per person student or $80 per
pair. Discounts available for committed students.
