April 2010 - Fine Gardening magazine 2 days before Christmas we got a call from editor Danielle Sherry telling us that Danielle's color saturated evening photograph of our gardens would be on the cover of Fine Gardening magazine! There's a super 6 page article (read it here) that reviews some of my favorite cut flowers and shows me building a large bouquet step by step (read it here). What a pleasure it is to finally realize the vision I communicated to our garden designer Sharon Nyenhuis in 1999 "I want our gardens to be on the cover of Fine Gardening magazine" Tom and I are over the moon!! |
 June 2007 - Sunset Magazine The Cutting Garden is featured in a four-page article Secrets from a Northwest Color Garden. Photographer John Granen did the most magnificent job of capturing the lush colors and interesting shapes of many of the flowers and foliage in our gardens.
